Mothers are Super Aliens. Referring to them as just human beings is doing them injustice.
I’ve been watching (not a stalker I promise, I try to restrict it to instagram and Facebook ONLY) this mother with her 2 children on the bus. She has a daughter and a very active son. She just got him to fall asleep and while he was I saw her stare at him then at her daughter back and forth obviously trying make sure they were both alright. I don’t know why but I found this observation absolutely stunning.
To care so much about other human beings is extremely difficult and the fact that it seems as though mothers have that instinct in abundance is just…breathtaking.
Of course, let’s not forget my own mother in all of this. She’s my best friend, my confidante, my strength. She’s the only person I can truly and honestly say I don’t know what I’d do without. I mean, don’t get me wrong I adore my father but you know when you just click more with one person than another? That’s exactly how I feel about my mum. She’s beauty in human form, a modern day Mona-Lisa, and she has the kindest heart. She’s not perfect but I feel she’s near it. I love her so much and thank God that I’m lucky enough to call her my mother.
Ooh! How convenient?! Mother’s Day is just round the corner. I guess I’ve got my present down…
Peace & Love
