So if you’ve been to London, you’d probably know how silent our train journeys can be most, if not all the time. I’ll admit I’m accustomed to the culture where ears are fully plugged in and everyone’s minding their own business apart from the occasional loud child or group of tourists.
However, tonight I was enlightened to see a different perspective when one of the friendliest people I’ve met asked me if I had just been for the Hillsong Conference. From then on, we began the bountiful banter where we exchanged our thoughts on how amazing the whole event had been. Although she had only attended the last evening session, she confirmed that she had gained a lot from it which I was glad to hear.
Another lady joined the conversation and we soon found out that it had been her birthday. It was just small things like this that made me glad to know that there are still people who take the tube that are willing to be open and friendly about themselves because you never know, ‘you may be one relationship away from changing the course of your destiny’ (wise words from Pastor Craig Groeschel).
Unfortunately, I was unable to get their names but it doesn’t matter; I believe God enabled me to have the conversations with them to edify me and make me realise how beautiful my Hillsong Conference Experience was.
BRING ON CONF 2015!
Peace & Love,
